Well, that may not be an entirely accurate title, since I'm not really sure in what part of Russia I contracted this doll of a virus. I spent a week visiting cities along the Volga river (Nizhnii Novgorod, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Saratov, and Volgograd). I had a great time. I then took an 18+ hr train from Volgograd to Moscow to stay with Olya and Jon for four days. I think that train was the beginning of the end for my back. It just got worse and worse till it even hurt to breathe. I couldn't tell if the severe headaches I was experiencing were radiating pain from my back or something else. I took the night train home from Moscow Sunday night and felt miserable. I've been in bed ever since. I haven't been this sick in almost five years. It sucks being so sick when you're so far away from home, and I'm one of those people that doesn't like others around when I'm sick, well, besides my mom, I guess, who can leave me in peace and go off and do other things. I am hoping I am slowly improving, but my fever keeps spiking in the evenings. Not eating much. Dizzy. Hot and cold. Terrible headache and earache. Body aches. It's a great time... Then add broken back to it all. :( Blegh.
Will try to write about all my travels when I am feeling less delirious.

oh NO! I'm so sorry you are so miserable...that does not sound good. Wish I could send you some chicken soup or maybe some antibiotics?
