I graduated from Brown on Sunday. Can't believe it's all over already. There was a week or so just for seniors after finals and before grad, during which I got to spend a lot of time with friends and take part in some fun Brown activities, including the Campus Dance. Graduation was better than I expected it to be, especially walking through the gates and down the hill--even if it was miserably hot. (There are pics on my flickr account.) I have had some great experiences at Brown and made some amazing friends. I think I will miss it more than I expected.
So, I am leaving for Eastern Europe in a week to travel for about a month before returning to the states for Fulbright Orientation in DC. I will be starting in Berlin, where I have some friends, and then traveling through Poland up to the Baltic States--Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia. My good friend Lydia is working in Estonia for the summer, so I am looking forward to spending some time with her. After that I will be in Petersburg for a couple of weeks basking in the white nights, visiting friends, helping out with a documentary film crew, and looking for apartments for the year. I can't wait. I should be home for most of July and some of August. I have some friends visiting, thankfully, including my host mom and host sister, Alla and Olya. Should be a nice summer. I'm still not exactly sure when I'll be heading to Piter for the year--probably sometime in mid to late August. Should be fun!
I'm sad to leave Brown and my friends, but I'll be seeing many of my profs and friends again this summer (the Brown program will be in Petersburg this summer) and hopefully I'll be able to make it down to Providence a couple of times to see people before I head to Russia.
и это всё...

Congratulations! Take lots of pictures of your travels.
Wow Libby, I've barely had any contact with you these few years, but I am really proud of you and excite dto read about what you are doing (god I feel like a mom, haha). I hope we can reunite sometime when you are in the states.
