If you haven’t noticed, or you have and it’s confusing, the posts pretty much come in big waves, since I do not have the most convenient internet access here. I have internet access at the Nevsky Institute, but that’s only during the week and the short time between and after classes. So when it says that I wrote something say Tuesday at 3am, I probably wrote it at some other time, maybe days before. Just in case you were wondering….

I also didn’t bring my nice cameras with me, just a little point and shoot digital, so that’s why the pictures aren’t that high quality. And I can’t see my blog posts after I post them for some reason, so that’s why the blog isn’t that great looking, layout wise, sometimes. But aesthetic sensibilities must give way to practicality.

Oh, and the comments are nice. Feel free to email me too (if anyone's reading this besides my family, haha). It's sometimes nice to hear from people who aren't "required" to keep in contact with me (my family and Patrick). I miss the US and everyone; it can get pretty lonely here sometimes.

This picture is of some delicious pastry and tea I got at a little café near Dostoevskaya. Delicious. First really good food I’ve had in Russia, and that’s not saying much.
